Reopening Plans

Disneyland® Paris re-opening plans

The resort and hotels are now open, view what you can experience at the resort here.

Disneyland® Hotel remains closed for a refurbishment and Disney's Davy Crcockett Ranch has closed for the winter season.

England Travel Restrictions & Requirements

Important: From 7th January 2022, travellers will not need to take a pre-departure test before travelling to England.

From 9th January, travellers arriving into England will no longer have to isolate until they get a negative PCR test, but will instead have to take a lateral flow test at the end of day two after arriving. If that is positive, they will then have to take a confirmatory PCR test. Those who are not fully vaccinated must still self-isolate on arrival back in the UK.

Update from Disneyland® Paris - 18th January 2022

The French government has announced the upcoming launch of a Vaccine Pass for all people aged 16 years and above to access leisure activities. Disneyland Paris will follow government requirements accordingly, however, the exact date and rules for implementation are pending official publication of the law and its implementation decree(s). You can find official information about Vaccine Pass on the French government website. We continue to work closely with the authorities and will share information on how this measure applies to our destination as soon as possible. In the meantime, a Health Pass currently remains required for any guests aged above 12 years and 2 months in order to visit the Disney Parks, the Disney Hotels and Disney Village.

Health Pass Q&A

What is the health pass that will be required to visit Disneyland Paris?
According to information available from the French government as of the issue date of this page, the health pass must be presented, in digital or paper format, to verify one of three things:
That a guest is fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine):
oTwo weeks after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
o Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
o Two weeks after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary).

 OR that a guest has been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs;

 OR for persons who have had Covid-19: the result of a positive RT-PCR or antigenic test attesting that individual HAS been infected, and that a period of time of at least 11 days and less than 6 months HAS passed since the test result was obtained  (considered as recovery certificate)

Guests can present any form of health pass– including the EU digital COVID certificate or equivalent for non-European Union countries – which fulfils the criteria outlined above.

For more information on the health pass including the latest updates, we invite you to visit the French government website.

Guests will need to present a valid ID with their health pass.

What are the accepted vaccination requirements to validate the health pass?
As of 15 July, a person is considered vaccinated if they have a complete vaccination schedule and the necessary time after final
injection, that is:
 2 weeks after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
4 weeks after injection for single-injection vaccines (Janssen Johnson & Johnson);
2 weeks after injection for vaccines in people with a history of Covid (single injection)

Who needs a health pass to access Disneyland Paris?
 As of 30 August, this requirement will also apply to guests ages 12+

Children under the age of 12 are not affected by this measure.

You will need to present a valid ID with your health pass.

A testing center is available in Disney Village and operates from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
It is equipped and managed by an independent provider, Loxamed, registered by the French Health authority which operates the site autonomously. Costs are defined by the independent provider, Loxamed as follow (all costs indicated are per test and per person):

PCR Tests (24-hour results):
Persons with a valid French social security number: €20.00 (administrative cost)
Persons without a valid French social security number: € 63.89 (administrative costs + €43.89)

Antigen tests (with results usually delivered in 15 minutes):
Persons with a valid French social security number: €20.00 (administrative cost)
Persons without a valid French social security number: € 45.01 (administrative cost + €25.01)

How many days does a negative PCR test last? Will I need to be tested multiple times if I am staying more than 2 nights at the resort?
Per French government rules, a negative PCR or Antigen test is valid for 48 hours if you're fully vaccinated, if you're not fully vaccinated (aged 12-17) this lasts 24 hours.. If your stay extends beyond this 24/48-hour validity period, you will be required to take another test / other tests to have a valid health pass for the whole duration of your stay.

It’s important to check the individual destination/country requirements before travelling. This link provides a country by country view:

For any destination guests will need to have a negative test inside 48 hours of departure before returning to England. A Covid PCR test then needs to be taken inside 48 hours after arrival into the UK and you must isolate until you receive the result.

France Entry Requirements

Last updated 17th January 2022

On Friday 14th January 2022 France relaxed the entry conditions from the UK for vaccinated travellers. This means the end of the need for "compelling reasons" for travel, and isolation upon arrival.

A negative test will still be required 24 hours before travel.

• Arrivals from the UK aged 12 and over must be fully vaccinated and present a negative PCR or lateral flow test result taken within 24 hours of departure.

• They must provide a "sworn statement" to confirm they are not suffering from any Covid symptoms and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight.

• Those who are not fully vaccinated must provide an essential reason to travel to France.

• To be considered fully vaccinated people must have their initial vaccination plus a booster if vaccination is more than 7 months old, dropping to more than 4 months old from 15th February.

The UK is currently on France's red list. We recommend you regularly check the UK Government and French Government's website for updates.
